Why does the nutkin minion cost more than a HOUSE?

I mean... I understand the importance of having rare desirable items in a game, but it seems like a bit much when it appears to cost more than a small freaking house on most servers. The last few on Excalibur have sold for 7 million+ and it seems to be the same on other servers.

I get the reason for it's current cost/value, this is more a question to why the devs would make it quite so rare. It does sort of feel like the other map minions, and the opo in brayflox are way more rare than necessary for vanity/cute items that serve no purpose other than to be cute.

I mean... I *could* continue to grind and buy one since I sort of want to own them all, but it's getting pretty ridiculous when it comes to minions. If I lot under 10 on the ST minion one more time.... /tableflip.

Supply and demand I guess. If it's an item that has a very low drop rate/is difficult to gain, and is highly desired, of course the price is going to be ridiculously high. That's consumerism for you.

I get that they're rare (it's RNG inside RNG so you can grind while you grind), but that's absurd.

Since the unhidden maps were released, I got 3 of them in total so far and I collect a map 7 days a week. So the drop rate of the maps is quite low. And then you have another low chance to get the minion. That's why this one is ultra rare. Already Bluebird from Peiste skin maps costed 2 millions when it came out and it is still quite expensive on Ragnarok because it is so rare.

they sell for 6 mil on excal, i got mine from a treasure chest, glad i got the best minion ever now i never have to worry about farming minions again. squrriel for life
