I do this - If the fate doesn't pop while I'm in that area for something else, I shit-can the book and move on. The other stuff takes 10-15 min's tops. The two bosses are either there or not. You can hit several A hunts in that short amount of time. It's been recommended that they should change it so that the daily hunts include B rank hunts rather than the fates with long wait times.
I'll only wait for a Daily Hunt FATE if I get a really common one like the ones to unlock CT.
Otherwise like the above poster I'll just trash the stack after getting the regular enemies.
Already spent far too many hours of my life waiting on FATEs in this game, I'm not about to do it on a daily basis.
Yea, if that thing don't pop within a reasonable amount of time, i.e. ~10 mins, then I'm out.
It is obvious that if you don't have time to wait for FATE then you should not do it. Join hunt group for seals or do dungeons for gil, or craft, or gather. Or go outside with friends. I don't know.
frenz
that is all
The way I approach the daily fates it's first...
1/ is it in an area that can drop me an atma,
2/ do I have that atma yet?
3/ if 1/yes and 2/no then I'll pick it up and go there
4/ I'll run around and do fates while keeping an eye on the area where the fate can pop for 30 min if no atma or pop by then I'll move on the the next one on the list(if applicable to 3/) else will go do other stuff and not care much
I do something similar to Ruskie's post
Sometimes the other daily hunt targets are in the same area, I group those together along with any beast tribe quests that are also in the same area. So as I'm doing beast tribe quests which take a while, I keep an eye out for those peticular FATEs. When they pop, I drop everything and run there. If its in a totally different area and I've finished everything, then I go farm other FATE's and mobs nearby to level my choco.
time not wasted in my opinion. everyone wins, including my choco lol.![]()
