Absolutely unbearable lag every single night

I'm in RI, on FIOS, and every single freaking night the game lags to a crawl. The game is unplayable.

Where's RI, exactly? The abbreviation means nothing to me.

That said, it's something for you. You may wish to contact your internet provider as there may be routing issues or other problems that are out of the hands of yourself and SE.

haven't seen any lag here recently, but there have certainly been some issues in the NE region with this particular data center. More often than not, using something like Battleping completely resolves said issues. A few people in my guild literally cannot play the game without battleping.
