    Monster list Aggro rating wrong

    Well when playing as a Tank I've noticed that the icons next to the monsters showing the aggro status (Red Square / Orange & Yellow Triangle / Green Circle) seem to be displaying incorrectly of late. Many times I've been trying to get the aggro on a mob with a Triangle symbol and a quick glance at the actual aggro bar on the player icons (the white bar) shows as me being the top target.

    This isn't a show stopper but it's becoming an annoyance when I'm spamming AOE aggro generators without the need to. Even if I select that target in particular it will remain as a Triangle even though I'm at full aggro.

    Are you, by chance, playing with a gamepad and only highlighting the monster in question, not fully switching your target to it? The enmity list in the party menu shows the enmity for your current fully-selected target, not a target that's only highlighted (even though it blinks as if it's switching targets to display).

    Whether that's a bug or not is up to SE, I guess; I think it ought to be changed. But if that's what you're doing, that's why you're seeing what your seeing. If not, weird, and definitely a bug.

    I've noticed this one in Hullbreaker. I had full agro, the mob was clearly on me and not the healer, but it still showed a flashing yellow triangle for the threat...it stayed that way until it was dead. At no point was the mob not chomping on me but yet no red square indicator. Soooo, who knows.

    Pretty much this. It seems that the monster list isn't being updated correctly, oh and I've been tanking since September last year and this is very much a new bug. I'll try and get some screen shots this evening as it will show it easily.

    ScOB Monsters

    I’d like to add to this report from a ScOB Turn 3 instance on Wednesday 24 from 10PM to 11:30 CST. During the dreadnought tower phase the aggro seems extremely different from past clears. Turn 3 most explicitly and Turn 2 adds exhibited the same traits as when shield oath was bugged I believe 2 patches ago. Our group did not have any significant gear increases to cause such swings in aggro, yet everyone was subject to grabbing hate, including pets. One observation included my SCH not casting for 5 seconds with any succor or pet actions active within this time frame only to have the dreadnought spawn with direct aggro on my character. Another instance included the tank grabbing full hate and after one Lustrate to recover from the cleave; hate was redirected in full to myself the scholar. Other suspicious aggro redistributions included pets being targeted and both the WHM and SMN by the said dreadnought, yet we dismissed those as rotational timings to correct. In summary, these occurrences were observed as suspiciously outside what we experienced as normal mechanics.
