Failed 13 overmelds in a row @ 45%
Failed 6 Hasty Touches in a row with Steady hand
3 crafts in less than 5 minutes, one 92%, one 95% and one 98% quality, all came out NQ
Cleared T6 and 7 for the last five weeks with only one healer drop (the earrings) which I promptly lost to the other healer
Ran T2 at least 50 times before I saw the caster body
Ran Garuda HM 30+ times for the sword (before I got my relic) only to one shot titan the next day
Ran CT for 3 weeks (5-10 times a day) before the MNK gloves dropped
Ran ST for 3 weeks (3-5 times a day) before the BRD pants dropped
Lost a 97 lot for Onion Knight to a 98
Failed 6 Savage Might 3 melds for Novus pattern @ 50%

Saw the caster body drop.
Holy crap. (at the time) dream piece, and the reason I'd set out that day to spam T2 until it happened.

...now I run t1-4 a lot for bonus myth (lots of new people and very little work involved), and have farmed t2 for all members of my FC to get what they wanted. I've done a hell of a lot of T2 runs, and I've never saw that body again. Not even once.

I don't got any proof showing it was %99, so if you say it Is impossible, I'll take your word for it, but I was around 50ish quality away to %100, but memory can be a flimsy thing.

You think it may be impossible to lose to RNG with a %1 fail rate? I mined an HQ Umbral Rock with a %1 HQ chance. Its very whimsy lol

I absolutely believe that 1% RNG does make the difference in this game. But also, I believe that the game is programmed so that 98% is max quality on crafting, specifically so people can't complain about failing crafts at 99%. An example of me crafting an item 1 point below max quality.

The bad : Spending literally 3 days straight no sleep with only a couple hours of break in between fate'ing and 2 weeks altogether of 6 hours a day after, in Upper La Noscea for the Atma. I almost could of cried when I finally left that zone.

The good : Getting 4 Atma within an hour after finishing Upper la Nosceas Atma then going to bed.

I outrolled the Sands by 1. That was a shock. xD Wish I had that RNG luck during Atmas.

We killed Nael Deus Varnus 16 times with this week.

Last week we were lucky to find a weapon we were missing: the paladin sword. So now instead of 4/8 players missing their weapon after 16 tries it's "just" 3/8 people, including me.

I never saw a SCH book, or a SMN book, or a WHM staff drop from Nael.

We saw tho':

5x BLM staves
3x WAR axes
3x MNK weapons (and no monks in the group)
2x DRG spear
2x BRD bow
1x PLD sword
