New Chocobo Colours?

Hey guys,

I was just checking the newly added dyes that are teasers for the later update and the colors are:

Pure White Dye
Jet Black Dye
Metalic Silver Dye
Metalic Gold dye

Since the current colors available for the chocobo are currently the same colors as the dyes, does this mean we will get the above new colors also on chocobo's?

In other words, will we be able to get Gold Chocobo's?

So they can just kill your choco for you and put it in a dumpster like they did with all those puppies

I'm not really sure if those colors will be available for chocos. I could see how the white and black would work, but the metallic colors rely on shader effects to get the shiny effect and are not based on simple rgb values so I am not sure how that would work with the current choco coloring system. Maybe a special food that would set them as those color.

That is an urban legend and based on a 1960s idea that you mainly breathed through your skin. It may also be conflated with the fact that the original planned actor for the Tin Woodsman ended up allergic to the silver paint and they had to get another actor to play the Woodsman.

If this were true, Chocobos would actually grow new feathers made out of solid gold. Meaning we shouldn't call PETA, but rather our nearest GSM.
