No

Instead of three 4-man dungeons SE should release one 8-man per patch.
Now hear me out for a second. 4 mans are currently invalidated on release because easier alternatives to i90/i100 (Minimum) exist and we've been stuck with i70 and i80 dungeons that would've been trash content even back when Leviathan had just been released.
What if instead of releasing content like that (Which is going to be ignored by most people outside of roulette), you released one 8 man dungeon per patch that was 5 levels below the tome gear sets? So for instance at the start of the patch which introduced Second Coil and Soldiery -
CT - i80
Myth/Allagan - i90
Dungeon Gear (And maybe later weapons) - i95
Weathered Soldiery (And later ST) - i100
High Allagan/Soldiery - i110
Doesn't that make more sense than what we got (Brayflox/Halatali/Amdapor dropping i70 gear)?
Two chests per 8 man boss, you could have the initial 8 man have armor only (Like traditional dungeon loot now) then a second 8 man in a later patch with some armor and some weapons like Wanderer's Palace as a mid-way weapon.

A single 8 man dungeon per patch? People would blow through content twice as fast.
Nobody even does the 4 mans though outside of roulette unless they're trying to get vanity. They can barely be called content in their present state and there's no sign that they're ever going to logically make sense as a progression point like they once did in 2.0. They have no place in the game in their current state.
Veteran players have no need to run them
New players have easier and better alternatives for gear and tome cap at the same time now that hunts are in the game
If it wasn't for duty roulette most players would probably not even go into them aside from the initial clear to finish the quest or what not
I'd welcome anything that deviates from the current pattern of endless 4-mans with little attempt at creativity. There are currently 23 four man dungeons that all basically offer the same experience: Run into packs of generic trash mobs, kill them, fight a boss, kill more generic trash, fight another boss, kill more generic trash, fight the final boss. Isn't it time for something new?
There are so many cool things that could be done. I'm sure many people here could come up with some great ideas for dungeons. Certainly SE could as well if they put their minds to it and were willing to experiment more.
We will get more of those in 3.0 once the Main Scenario starts expanding to a Big Plot considering now all we are getting is Minor plot that is setting the stage for 3.0 Storyline in 2.X Main Story.
I'm struggling to see the reason behind wanting an 8 man dungeon and what could possibly make it more interesting than 4 man dungeons (assuming they are). OP gives no reasoning for the request, either. Lol. There are none other than "it's something we don't have yet."
The 8 man story dungeons were cool to do once but not really something that you would want to repeat a lot of times.
I think people just want to play with more players, 8 mans feels more traditional for most MMO vets. 4 mans feel like a lobby gameI'm struggling to see the reason behind wanting an 8 man dungeon and what could possibly make it more interesting than 4 man dungeons (assuming they are). OP gives no reasoning for the request, either. Lol. There are none other than "it's something we don't have yet."
