Just wondering about future areas in Eorzea (landscape)

One thing I've wondered for a long time, is, the area around where Ala Mhigo is, I wonder what type of landscape that area is? (Forest, Desert (or other wasteland type) plains, mountainous?) The same goes for Dravania and Sharlayan.

I've always imagined Ala Mhigo as a plateau sort of region. Like Meriphataud Mountains or Gustaberg from FF XI. Arid like Thanalan but more mountainous rather than desert.

Wow, Ala Mhigo looks insanely beautiful from that artwork. That looks like it would be my favorite city as mountainous regions are what I love the most.

There are still possible locations such as Adalathia's Spine which contains the Warrior Tribes of Eorzea and Sharlayan located north west of Aldenard and Dravania which are two locations we can not explore yet.

Also, don't forget the other continents such as the Far east which will follow a Chinese and Japanese theme style culture and environment which is where Doma and Radz-at-Han is located.

Then there is the Garlean Empire in the North East of the Map which will have a Technology theme civilization due to their advancement in Magitek.
