please no more gil reward reduction

well is frustrating for new playes that wanna new gear, check the ward and many items are incredible expensive, the problem is they receive less gil how they supoose to buy it??? (i refer items rank 15)
    it's bad idea this decision

easy made money= more fun minus rtms
hard to made money like ffxi= more rtms and tedius
    is simple

tbh I'm more pissed about the fact that we no longer can get the Lodestone achievement for obtaining 100k gil from a Levequest lol

Well... The problem with gil rewards from leves is that they steadily increase the amount of gil in circulation. So right now the value of gil is pretty nil for anyone who has played for awhile.

SE needs to lower the amount of gil going into the economy to stop the inflation, then they need to add a steady way for gil to be taken out so the value can deflate a bit too.

THEN they need to adjust crafting in such a way as to actually promote crafters to craft items all across the board (hopefully the materia system will help here.) because right now several low level things require very bizarre and not at all low level ingredients, (berets, gladii, spathae, etc.)

It's pretty harsh for anyone coming into the game right now... Especially since most crafters won't bother with the lower level gear. That being said, I bet most of those same crafters would be willing to make things for newer players upon request...

I know I personally have ridiculous amounts of Hempen and Cotton cloth and would be more than happy to bang out some clothing if someone needed it.

Unfortunately... increasing the gil rewards from levequest isn't a great fix for anything in the long run.

Why don't they just give everyone access to the rank 1 weapons at the beginning of the game. Least that way you don't have to deal with the hassle of finding and buying all 15 or so of those.

I think the bigger concern is that the rank 1 gear is... well, awful. And the first upgrades, which occur at roughly rank 7 are stupid expensive... Like most of them sell for 40,000gil if you are lucky.

Throw in just how quickly a brand new character can hit rank 10 (it's seriously less than half an hour.)

And new players can find themselves in the low teens with rank 1 gear and no means to acquire better gear (since they've completed maybe 4 leves to get where they are and have maybe... MAYBE 10,000 gil to their name.)

It's a harsh start to the game...

Part of the problem is that for a really long time gil has been really easy to acquire and had nowhere to go so it's been piling up. Part of the problem is that crafting is incredibly convoluted so not many people are going to waste time making things that they can't sell or get skill from. And part of the problem is back when the game launched the dev team decided it took too long to reach the ranks in which content takes place... so a new player at rank one can start a leve, kill one mob and gain 2 ranks.

Again... none of the ways to fix this is to start introducing more gil to the economy... Though perhaps they should reconsider those rank 1 leve rewards, and perhaps start distributing rank 1-9 gear from those leves.

Or introduce quests for the newer players that will outfit them as they progress...

But the first thing they need to do is halt the absolutely stupid rate of progression from ranks 1-15.

Well with the leve reforms I think the progression in general (including 1-15) should be significantly slower now. Regardless, I think you should start with all the tools and make simple quests in each city that give out rank 7 or 10 gear for each class (maybe via guilds or guild reps for cities without guilds). That way the person learns the basics and then is set up to go and explore the world at rank 10, for example, with minimal initial investment

etiher quests or make low level gear more easily crafted and not take millions of steps and side craft to finaly craft a hempen robe for exemple. Also, low level gears could be sold from NPC at reasonable price, like around 2k per piece maybe?

Nah, even without the SP bonus from leve targets you can still get 600 sp from a leve mob at rank 1. They need to repeal the crazy bonuses they applied to just being that low of a rank.

When you only need ...what 230 sp to rank? you don't need to be earning 300% sp per mob.

Though I do agree with the quests for each guild, a more indepth version of the city intro quest we get, that maybe has you join each guild (where you then get the rank 1 tool for free.) and then fulfill a few simple synths, battles, gatherings and they reward you with an "all classes" piece of gear for level 7 or so.
