Help me with my FC's theme! The World Regenesis Organization!

We wanted to find a organization that we do not see used. My first thoughts were Deepground, WRO, The Archadian Judges and Yevon. Because of my love for FFVIIoC, I pushed for the WRO.


Can any of you lovely people help me incorporate this theme into my FC? My main focus is ranks but I have noo idea and can't find anything substancial.

The house, once we get it, will be WRO HQ, of course.

I hate to say this because it can come across as a bit harsh, but if you're looking for an original organization, drawing inspiration from FFVII may not be your best option.

That was the thing, though. We wanted to draw our theme from FF lore. I've been asking around and not many people know of the WRO and I think this is partly because it was barely mentioned in FFVII.

Well of all of the Final Fantasy lore you could have drawn, why VII, one of the most popular games in the franchise? You could have gone with the Palamecian Empire from FFII, the Mysidian Order from FFIV, the Dawn Warriors from FFV... or just made something else up based on lore from a less popular Final Fantasy game.

I already told you why I, specifically, pushed for WRO. I loved Dirge of Cerberus and the role WRO played. I thought the whole idea behind saving and restoring the planet connected a LITTLE with the story of XIV, if just a tiny bit.

Wow, someone who actually liked DoC o__O I always thought I was the odd one out.

As for rank ideas, according to the FFwikia page, much of the organization is split between military members, researchers, and espionage, so you could always go with military-themed ranks, like officers and lieutenants. The bottom of the page has a WRO member listed as "Commander" and the other two simply "Member", so you might have to get a little creative depending on who's in your FC and what role they want to play, if everyone is equally serious as you about the ranks making sense.
