I agree with the OP in principle.

However I read it somewhere they the dev team are split into groups and working on different elements of the game, so I dont think that implementing this pretty pointless feature really impacted to much in the grand scheme of things.

That said, for those that don't know this, it does create an impression that SE are just fettling and not getting down to the real meaty issues that people are screaming for.

For that reason, sure if you wanna add in things like this, fine, just don't make a big issue of it, but when theres a change that the playerbase are desperate for in the works, shout it from the rooftops!
