Batrall Fight gamepad targeting issue!

During the Batrall fight, skeletons join in the fight. Every time for the few times we fought him I had a problem targeting my party members with the D-pad. Pressing up and down to scroll through the party list didn't work. I could target the first and last person, but no one else. This only happens when all three skeletons that pop are close to each other.

After targeting the first person in my list, I would move to the second, but then the target would disappear even though the person is right in front of me. 2 other mages had the same targeting problem. I had to resort to taking my mouse clicking on cure then click on the persons name in the party list. Trying to target the play any other way would not work.

Anyone else have this problem using a gamepad?

I don't have this problem with my gamepad but I use targetting mode B where I use the right and left arrows to target members and up and down to change modes. It's not as quick but works just fine if you get used to it. Would be faster to target them going up and down the party list though I agree.
