    repair menus.

the menu to select repair materials and which hand to
Repair with should be done away with.
The system auto selects the materials.
May as well auto select main hand
An do away with that step in the repair process.

while we are at it, if you have the level to repair the item, do away with having to equip the tool. It takes like 5 minutes to repair all my rings, all armor pieces, sword, pants by changing classes 6 times and removing clothes and requiping clothes.

I'm pretty sure that goes against the mechanics of the game.
if they did away with crafting as an actual class it could work.
but all tools would have to removed as actual item's.

JP thread is talking about this where if your crafting level is high enough + you have the tool + you have the dark matter you can just hit repair button and it automatically repairs since dark matter is 100% repair anyways now. makes sense to me.

I'm not doubting your translating skills. Could they be talking about something like.

    you switch to leatherworker
hit repair on any item repairable by that class and it repairs forgoing the animation.
you know plus you meet the skill / DM reqs.

It's just the community talking not the devs or reps on the one I posted but what they are talking is being whatever class they are currently and repairing what they can repair as long as the class required for repair is at correct level, you have the tool in your bag and have the dark matter.

So say I have PUG48 and Armorer34, I can repair my bagnau(?dunno English spelling) and I have dark matter + my hammer in my bag. While I'm on my PUG48 I can just hit repair on the item and it will repair it for me.

I understand the concept. Auto Equipping and then Auto De-equipping a tool just seems to be a bit much to ask.
if we are talking about forgoing equipping the tools all together then whats the point of having Crafting classes
anyway. doing that pretty much makes Crafting a side job and not a Full class. I don't see SE going for that.
Asking them to remove the Menu BS that's not needed for this one part of the class is more likely to get done
    sooner then later.
