    Well that how it generally work and you're effected by it everyday in RL (e.g a 200g can of coffee is going be more expensive than a 500g can of coffee in terms of price per gram) as well within the game.

    Gatherers are going to sell in smaller stacks at a slightly higher price, especially for items which are high in demand. So if high demand recipe X only requires 5 of mat Y then gatherers are naturally going sell 5 item stacks of Y at slightly higher prices because it easier to sell in those units, whilst full stacks will be slightly cheaper as they are harder to shift than 5 individual mats as crafter are generally not after full stacks. Thus needing a "discount" to shift.

    That's why the end-product worth you to craft yourself, just bcoz the mat. is trouble to get in small number otherwise the end-product may cheaper than that "like 3 to make a bit" ^^;

    As a seller and crafter, no. If I sell it in a stack, that is how I want it sold, if I wanted to sell one I would.

    Maybe, I would settle for a toggle.....Like I put a stack of 99 up and I toggle it to allow people to purchase any amount from it. I am ok with this, as long as it is a option given to me for every single thing I put on the AH

    Initially I was on board, but then I realized how much I like that I can sell single quantities (or small quantities) in a different price range, almost as though it's a different product and much like real life. There would be a TON of people picking single items out of stacks of 99. Prices would become completely uniform such that selling small quantities specifically would yield no benefit. This would be a huge QoL boost for buyers, but ultimately it would hurt sellers a lot.
