Another R0... 30002 error thread

Hello,
I am aware that there are many threads on this issue. I am just hoping starting another one will get the help I and so many others need to actually play the game...

*disclamer* i know nothing of computers and english is not my first language

A few months back I had the R0 (wait a few minutes) error 30002 happen as soon as I tried mining around Camp Horizon. I asked my LS for help and they suggested going to config. and setting UPnP Port Mapping to "Do not use". They also suggested finding any files from the beta that had not been removed when i uninstalled the beta client before release. I did both (there were a lot of beta files still hanging around...) and the game ran fine for months.

Anyone experiencing this issue might wanna try the above (just thought i ´d share)

Yesterday i walk into the Weavers guild in Ul´dah. Game freezes. a few minutes go by and R turns to 0. a few minutes later i get the "time out 30002 error".

log out. log back in. talk to synth support npc. as soon as i purchase facility game freezes.

repeated this 3 times (thats 6000 gil in support btw...;()

restart computer. check all other internet software (all browswers work fine, stream video, radio, live TV and what-not.)

log in and flee the weavers guild. just outside the guild game freezes (R0....30002). LS chat works fine but everything else is frozen. log out, log back in and run out of the City.

Have a solo /dance party by a rock. Dancing does not freeze the game. yay. dare to start crafting. works until i try using "preserve" instant R0... wait for an eternety and 30002 happens. give up and goes to work...

I log in later at night and manage to get to the church in Ul´dah. start crafting but freezes up and get 30002 error. forgot to check if i could /dance in church (dancing is the only thing i managed to do without freezing up...)

Next day (today): log in go to weavers guild (i need that syth buff to finish my leaves, darn it) and as soon as i talk to npc and pay the 2000 gil- game freezes. all the while Link Shell chat works fine.

tried changing settings in config. again. still freezes (R0...30002). bypassed router by hardwireing internet directly into PC. freezes as soon as i move, do any action or talk to npcs at the guild.

at one freeze-up there was a pop up saying that the game could not detect my DirectX. But this only happened once. checked DirectX and the installer on the page claims i already have the newest version of DirectX.

as i mentioned earlier i really know nothing about computers and i feel i have done what i can to research and try to fix this issue. Until someone tells how to fix it or the issue is removed (if it is server side) ill be limited to dancing alone in some remote place...

and if you are on Besaid- please do not join my dance party, since that will most likely freeze my game^^

I think SE have some issues on their end that they need to sort out, which they are slowly. I really want a rep to tell us what this is because a lot of people are getting it at the moment.

Yes, I've done pretty much anything I can do on my end, yet now going on 3rd day of R0, hopefully I will be able to play once they have done a maintenance *fingers crossed*
