It would have been nice if the full range of shards were available instead of them all turning into water. Big Fish should turn to clusters too, instead of crystals.

Meaning us chefs will also have unnecessarily overcomplicated and difficult recipes to create stuff that are nothing but vanity / are completely useless. Yay.

No, but really. Fine sand is annoying when that's practically all we ever get, and consequently, can't even shift it because it sells for 1 gil, NQ or HQ.

Unless Culinarian somehow gets a way to produce Demimateria, it will never be on equal ground.

Bringing back the old fish > shards recipes through desynthesis would have been an amazingly welcome addition. Instead we get fine sand and pigments.
