Just saying but if you feel more comfortable with the PIE instead of the DET just go with it. The "BiS" lacks so much piety and everyone keeps saying SCH doesn't need any piety at all but I just I can't agree with it. I like my piety at at least 4400MP, it makes me feel safer, it makes me feel better. Though I use the HA hands over the Daystar hands.

The more PIE you have the better passive refresh the sch have. So you can cast lost of Physic fast and your mp reduction will be minimal.

This is good to know, I've been dpsing in T9 to help with Golems and I noticed a few of my actions not hitting.

Yea Healers don't meet Accuracy Cap. Tt probably is the same cap for BLM. A fully geared healer will have i think 409 Accuracy. When the Accuracy is i think 470?for magic users

I agree with the point on Piety. Aetherflow gives more back with more MP, and it could also help your white mage as well. The more you can help heal, the less the WHM will need to, and the less chance the WHM could go OOM (since we all know Shroud isn't that great).

PIE is what I threw in for the last stat slot on my budget Novus just as a luxury. I've considered replacing it with ACC for a small boost in Second Coil DPS, but I'm not positive that it would make a dramatic difference unless maxed out.

In any case, SCHs definitely don't need much PIE at all. Having more of it just means you can slop even more Adlos, Succors, DoTs, and Shadow Flares around without having to come remotely close to an OOM situation (when you probably weren't getting close to OOM in the first place). If people are dying so much that rezzes are that taxing on MP, it's either a wipe or the corpses need to be left on the ground in favor of supporting the players who aren't dying every 2 seconds.

As for hands, I currently use Scylla's for the added crit even though they can't be made 110. I might not "upgrade" until the next i110+ armor option with CRIT.
