I was reading some of the posts from Loadstone and that got me thinking about the influence of certain stats on crafting
Q. What do the crafter-related attributes Craftsmanship, Magic Craftsmanhip, and Control each do?
A. Among recipes in the game, there are those for which the rate of progress and chance of success are increased by higher Craftsmanship, and those for which they are determined by Magic Craftsmanship. Control helps to reduce the occurrence of aetherial sparking (see below), and exerts its influence over both types of recipes just mentioned. So, based on this ifnormation there is a couple things we can assume as correct. The effect of attributes on synthesis is limited. When attempting to craft a high-quality item, however, the likelihood of success increases as the attribute most closely associated with the tool being used rises. As the attributes associated with the main and off hand tools of each class are different, players may wish to give careful consideration to the class on which they wish to focus.
Armorer ----------- VIT -------------- STR
Successful and progress rate is increased by the (Mag) Craftmanship stat that is most relevant to the recepy in question, we now need to find which stat to associate to which recepy.
Control prevent the distabilization of the orbs on all recepies.
The most Str/Vit you have, the higher the chance of obtaining an HQ with the appropriate tool.
Now, on ARM all main Hand Tools have more Craftmanship than Mag Craftmanship and all Off Hand Tools have the oposite, more Mag. Craft than they do Craft.
The recepy for Iron Chainmail Vest for example shows that by using primary tool, you get a high quality item while using the secondary tool you get high quantity.
These leads me to believe that this specific recepy has a bigget conection to main hand and by association to Craftmanship.
If I was looking to get +1 items I would then have to use the Main Hand Tool and preferably load on both Craftmanship and Vitality.
I would like to see everyone's input on this idea and then move on to possibibly extend it to otther recepies.
