Beast tribe mounts!

As of right now, every trusted reward mount you get from beast tribe reps are the same as the quest mounts. Wouldn't it be cool if the mount you worked so hard for didn't look exactly like the mount you've been questing with for the past month? I'm not asking for a revamp or anything crazy like that, but maybe it could be the same mount but with armor and baring the crest of the specific beast tribe it belongs to? What do you guys think?

It's not like the beast tribes themselves are asking "When will we get our own chocobos like the players do?" Because according to the Data files, they have Beast Tribe chocobos.

So just deal with it.

The whole reasoning behind these mounts is that they are trusting us enough to be willing to give us a mount that they would normally breed for their own use. There wouldn't be anything different between them and the ones we use in the quests since they are from the same stock.

And the kobolds "raise" bombs so that explains the palanquin.

I'm not asking for different mounts, just saying it would be cool if they wore some armor, since you know.. You'd be riding them into combat and what not. I mean honestly who wouldn't want an armored Goobbue!?

Considering my favorite mount is the minstrel's goobbue... not I. In fact, it'd be really weird to see a goobbue in plate mail given that you never see armored goobbues anywhere in the whole of the Final Fantasy series. In fact, armored chocobos aren't all that popular, either, but you see all sorts of barding for them in this game so XIV is somewhat unique. Armor, though, is just cosmetic so I don't see the point.

I could see a new color or something awarded at teh allied rank the same way you get 5 new minions, but I don't think people would very much like running out and spending 1.25 million on mounts all at once.
