    Levi EX (Paladin stunlock Help)

    Hey guys!

So i've already beaten this bad boy a few times on my PLD but always the other PLD insist on MT and i always end up having to stunlock those annoying adds and so far we managed. but i'm not satisfied with my results, maybe its my team not killing them fast enough? But often they get one or two skills off which shouldn't happen.

can anyone help me out here?

i usually wait untill the mob gets to around 80% of HP then i stun them, Last 6 seconds. When that hits 1 i wait one more second then stun him for another 3.
Then my stun only lasts 1 second? And from that point on he will be able to cast dread stuff, Or do i just do it wrong?

Yeah there's diminishing returns on the stun. Once you've done the third that add needs to be dead or he'll cast.

Or someone else needs to do something else to stop the cast. Like WHM using Fluid Aura for the knockback.

You can wait longer for the first stun. Ofxourse that depends on the DPS but my stun rotation starts close to 60%

You can wait longer between the 1st and 2nd stun. The 1st stun's timing is critical because you cannot stun the move once he starts casting. But the 2nd stun is more lax. That's where you can make up some time. You can wait until the cast of the move that he does after the 1st stun (Dreadwash?) is to 50%, then do the 2nd, 3 sec, stun. (I dont recommend waiting any longer on his cast bar because it takes a little bit of time for your stun to actually go off).

I haven't tanked this in some time but I believe that sahagin's rotation is something like Ruin Ruin Darkness then stuff you need to stun. So after you see Darkness, start stunlocking. Or whatever his 3rd move with a castbar is that is just damage.

If your 2nd stun is only lasting 1 second then someone else is stunning the Wavetooth. You'll have to remind all the DPS that they must take stun actions out of their rotations on him...it's their fault not yours

Start your stunlock at around 75%-80% HP. He won't cast until around then. Don't bother really keeping aggro on it as you'll risk missing the stun.
You can do this for two reasons:
It won't do very much damage at all in the 20ish percent HP before it starts casting Dreadwash, and obviously won't be attacking when it's stunned.
The DPS should have it dead before your stuns wear out. If not, he won't be attacking anyway as he'll just keep casting dreadwash.

-First, don't wait to stun him at 80% health. Chance is he may cast Darkness during that time frame and you won't be able to stun him at all. I say after he cast 2 of his normal attacks is a good time to start the stun lock.
-Second, never chain 3 stuns back to back as in case your DPS slow at getting him killed before he get stun immune, he may be able to cast Dreadwash and it is a wipe at phase 2, when the rail is down. Instead, stun twice on him back to back, then wait until you see him cast Dreadstorm at about 50% finish casting time, then stun. Don't worry about the Darkness as he will cast darkness somewhere between the first two stuns and the CD of that skill is pretty long. And if he is not down by then, your DPS 's team is really really low...

So Dreadstorm is stunable? and dread wash isn't ?
