Need Help With Lag Problem

Hi all, I've been getting lag randomly ever since I got back into ff14 a few weeks back. The game would run fine and then everyone would stop moving for a few sec or so and then everything that happened while I froze would catch up all at once ( example would be me casting a spell but my character won't do anything and then all the sudden she would cast 2-3 spell at 2-3x speed, kinda like watching a movie being fast forward.) This is weird because before I left, I never had this problem. This lag makes it really difficult to heal because I can't tell when people is taking dmg and all the sudden they would drop dead.

My specs are - Gpu-780 gtx sli, cpu- intel i7 4930k oc to 4.1, 16 gb of ram, OS - window 8.1. Internet speed- download-50mbs and up-10mbs. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Been having the exact same problem. Spells not casting, interrupting themselves, regen/esuna effects not registering or only after a severe delay. Been happening since 2.38, then got a lot worse after the emergency maintenance.

Occasionally having the same issue here as well since the last patch, not experiencing it with anything else on my PC and just comes in spikes while I'm in a duty, and VERY rarely when in open world. Perhaps this thread should be in a support forum of some sort? Might get more answers there. Glad it's not just me.

This^. It happens mostly in dungeon for me as well. Can a mod move this thread to the support forum or do I need to make a new one?

I get around 150MS+. I'm a CA resident, and the Data Center is in Montreal (FYI, across the US up north).

Quite often I will experience a Strange, yet frustrating Controller lag. I would be normal then suddenly my control would be 'locked' onto one action, weather it be tapping X, or moving, or whatever, it would be stuck onto that one action, locking my controls for a few seconds. Its caused me a few annoyances, even causing my character to run STRAIGHT OFF titan's arena. Very embarrasing.
