Hey folks,

Perhaps we can share ideas for HUD and hotbar setups. I think the ideal HUD should minimize the amount of eye travel to see information and for keyboard and mouse users, hotbars should minimize the time it takes to fire off all of the different abilities we have available. Does that sound about right?

There are so many possible setups that we can have vastly different arrangements. Sometimes certain HUD positioning doesn't work out and you make adjustments to make things more slick. I've spent a lot of time trying to get it right and settled on this (I'm a controller user):

I finally had to put the focus target bar right under my character so I don't miss boss attacks although it still happens on occasion. I have big ability icons for seeing cooldowns and everything else is pretty compact. Most abilities are mapped to the controller with a handful of rarely used ones assigned to a keyboard hotbar. The setup seems to be working pretty well but I'm open to ideas.

Hey controller users, do any of you use both cross hotbar sets that you access by hitting L2 --> R2 and R2 --> L2? By doing so you can have instant access to a total of 32 abilities but it seems confusing to do the trigger buttons in both sequences. Is that too confusing or can you get used to it pretty easily? Right now I have those two sets exactly the same so that it doesn't matter if I hit L2 or R2 first. That only gives me access to 24 abilities though and it would be nice to have the full 32 on there.

So anyway let's see it. What configuration have you settled on?
