    Unsure of what to put in the upper left side. I don't like going up there.

    Alliance info is on far right. Two horizontal bars auto-swap on pet summons and are hidden otherwise, another horizontal bar is for signs only, which hides/unhides by clicking the + sign macro on the left vertical bars and pops up right above the chat box

    Well, I tried many 'undelete' softwares but weirdly enough, none of the recovered files contained my old settings =(

    So here is my new HUD, minus all the awesome macros I had T_T

    For the image i have used Photoshop CS2 and for the overlay play claw 5.

    Your overlay video reminds me of an add-on in World of Warcraft...forgot its name. It reacts to events in the game (buffs, debuffs, procs etc) and you can set it to show image (with effects like slide-in, zoom, etc), and many people had proc notifications tied to anime character images.

    The dev's decision to strictly control how people use the interface in FFXIV is a sad affair, I must say. FFXIV is like iPhone but with only Apple Inc. apps available in the App Store, and that the UI is more like Windows 3.1...

    I wouldn't count it too bad of a necro myself, no point in making a new one when its just showing setups as opposed to discussed topics. :3
