No. I also have music disabled in game.
No. I also have music disabled in game.
When I'm SB'ing at Urths for an expected multiple hours, I turn off the bgm and battle effects (multiple Holy's can be pretty eye-straining) and run a playlist full of FFXIV and some VN tracks.
Yes, I do. I find the game's own soundtrack to be rather weak compared to the singleplayer FF games that got me hooked to the series. Talking about VII, VIII and IX. Grinding stuff in those games never felt like a chore thanks to the good music.
Maybe I'm a Cactuar
If i'm going to be fighting a lot I mute the game's and play metal instead (or just play it louder than ARR's lol), I like the in game music but the on and off on and off battle music drives me nuts.
Edit: low level / open world fighting, primal battle music is good :P

Nope. Just the game music. But as I can often have other stuff running and it is set to a lower volume it's usually a non issue. I will often zone out and focuse to much anyway so will not hear the music itself.
i listen to FFXI music while playing
I listen to podcasts unless I'm on a difficult fight. Sound is kind of a big deal in battle.
I watch Netflix whilst playing instead. The majority of the content in this game can be played with minimal attention, so that works out fine.
Yes.
10char
Soken's field themes are just super bland compared to the beautiful 1.0 tracks.
