You are in a group of 8, and dividing a group into one group of 7 and one group of one does not seem good for a groupBolded: This is strictly, and unequivocally opinion, and your opinion as it were. Just as it is my opinion that this is not true. The concession of what is for the greater good of the group comes from said group itself. If Party X is 7 vets and 1 newbie, and the vets decide that they want to speed run the newbie has the option to leave or speed run. The majority carries weight in this game.
That is like the only time it makes sense to force people to skip. Even then, we just went and beat the bosses with like less than 8 people (I think we might've had 8 a few times). I think I had a situation like that one time. We were in and then suddenly we got an announcement that there was an emergency maint. We were like: Oh hell, RUSH!All that being said, the one time that I actually was guilty of forcing people to skip cutscenes was when I got trapped in a Praetorium about 15-20 minutes before a server maintenance. That was fun. Everyone understood and it made it a whole different experience trying to race to the end before the servers went down. It was a lot of fun.
Were we in the same party that time?

The healer of love and justice! (Or the mad/insane/evil/berserk healer depending on who you talk to).
I've played healers for so long that I can heal in my sleep literally (People have seen me do it).
I like to do a bit of everything, but my preference is healing+support (until /that/ happens). FF14 title: Macro Queen
I'm laughing so hard right now.
What's harassment is you people screaming, cursing and crying your face off because some new player wants to enjoy the CS.
If they didn't want to have people watch a CS, then they shouldn't of added it.
You're stressing yourself out, and the newbies because you wanna rush the Jesus out of the run.
Go to Mythflox Soliderstop or whatever for your Myth stuff, or whatever you do.
The ones that should seriously take the heat is the ones verbally abusing people lol.
To avoid such incidents in the future, we would advise to speak with either the group leader or fellow party members when joining a new group to discuss any specific party restrictions that need to be addressed (i.e. any loot priorities, allowing group members to watch cutscenes etc)."
There will be no time to and this is stupid, they will speed run it and any one who oppose will probably say no and get the boot, I am sure more
people run CM and all are there for the roulette's, you may get a newbie or two.
Tell is as old as time itself really. I'm guilty of skipping CS's because I'm so sick of being Keyboard
Warrior'd the living hell out of it all. People should be ashamed. You were all new and watched the CS too at some point.

Who cares? The Three to Six people that grant them. I helped the newbies learn the dungeon and they had fun. I let the vets have their quick dungeon. Everyone was apparently happy. You're the only one throwing a fuss. Someone who ISN'T a newbie with 3 classes already to 50. So don't try to fool anyone. Lodestone always tells the truth. No offense but who cares about how many comms you get? We're not all cut from the same cloth, I enjoy cutscenes as well as earning them. I do not like being carried/coddled by you or anyone for the matter. That said, I keep my feelings out of DF, if I want the type of run -I- like I find means of getting it that does not involve this "compromise" nonsense you keep spouting.
SE didn't create the problem. People like -YOU- did. What have you done to help newbies? I even helped one in this thread. You didn't do that. And I don't coddle them. They got to do the work. But trash that is going to die in 3 holys isn't going to challenge them. Helping the group get Ultima Down before the explosion is helping. Which they all do.Also you said this has nothing to do with the very people who made said content as it is??? What??? Users might be partially to blame but SE is just as much at fault for fostering. And for the record your a tank a tank who explains and lets them watch at that.. You are bound to get comms based on those three facts solely. The same applies to anyone else doing baby content.
As for getting them as a tank... wow you might want to look at my lodestone profile. My highest level tank is 43 or 44. I can't do those dungeons yet on my tanks. But yeah, mostly as a healer. But I have gotten up to 4 or 5 in Praetorium as a DPS. So like I said, it may not mean anything to you here on the forums. But it means something to the people in game. And that's all that matters.
You don't make friends and allies when you're a jerk to one side over the other. You just polarize the community. SE didn't do that. People like you did. Stop being part of the problem and be part of the solution.
See, these elitists dictate which videos you can and cannot watch. Cutscenes? Unacceptable? But if you dare skip one youtube video...
That was a bad design with those dungeons from SE. OP is right you should STFU when a new players watches the cutscenes. If you don't like it don't ever join story mode roulettes. SE must learn that you can't trust people and you can't expect people to act out of good will. People are selfish and jerks especially when they hide behind computers and video game characters. So next time don't design a dungeon full of cutscenes. You can put a big cutscene or even a whole movie after the last boss of this dungeon is killed and everyone will be happy. I hope they won't repeat the same mistake with the expansion.
