Option 2 needs some work, as it currently stands you are putting emphasis on raiding over everything else by creating all-encompassing terms. A game is not as black and white as "raider or not." If someone's passion is raiding, that makes them a raider. If someone's passion is crafting, they shouldn't be shoved into a singular "non-raider" with everyone else. No, that person is a "crafter." If someone's passion is helping newbies through quests and dungeons, that person is a "teacher." If someone's passion is living within the world, that person is a "role player." I can keep going, but the point is that all play styles are equally important. If you wanted to make a post to see who raids, that's fine, but you should of just worded it as "hey do you raid?" A simple yes or no suffices there. As it stands, the original post makes it seem like is only one way of playing the game, by raiding.

I prefer to break the mold. I'm a midcore. I enjoy all that is available, I'll spend a lot of time in game. But I will at times focus on many different things. I'm part of a static that tries to do coil 3 times a week. It took us near 9 months to get through the first coil but we weren't in a hurry. We did a lot of other stuff and we had conflicting schedules etc...

The way I see myself is... I want to do everything there is to do but I will do it on my own time frame(example I only cleared the original primals a couple of weeks ago, and I got mog ex and levi ex down on saturday my t5 clear and novus happend in a 2 week period). The most important part is having fun. If I'm not it's not something I'm likely to do.

Hardcore Non-Raider by your definition, but I find your definitions fairly shallow. I find percentage of content completed tells more about how "Hardcore" or "Casual" someone is.

Mid-Hardcore Leveler: 3 level 50s and all other classes are Level 30+
Mid-Hardcore Relic Hunter: Roughly 30% done on Curtana and Holy Shield Nexus with only 1 other Relic.
Hardcore Sightseer: I've seen all the sights and have the 3rd rarest pet in the game. (Fledgling Apkallu)
Mid-Hardcore Primal Killer: Only Primals I have yet to kill are Ramuh (EX), Mog (EX) and Levi (EX)
    Mid-Hardcore Raider: T5 cleared
Hardcore Beast Tribe Negotiator: All Beast tribes were finished at the earliest possible date.
    Mid-Hardcore PvPer: PvP Rank 35
Mid-Hardcore Elite Mark Hunter: Have killed each Elite Mark at least once and purchased all the Sands/Oils I needed for 1 set of weathered gear in the first 3 weeks of patch 2.3.

More of a random player. Whether it interest me or not I can play hours grinding for gear or help ppl out. Finding balance between hardcore and casual........that's pretty much it.

Well i am random too, when i have time i play, like last 2 weeks i had too much time so i managed to get an animus/novus within that week.
Now i have no time so i'm only about 200/2000 on my nexus.

But in the past i come online every tuesday for t6-9, hunt (cap sol), that's it for FFXIV for the week.

According to those rules I'd be a hardcore raider... but according to hardcore raiders I'm not.

I play on average 7hrs a day, every day.

I love to raid but don't want to burn out. I've found a group that raids 2-3 times a week ~2 hrs each raid which is perfect for me until it seems like progress has been walled (T7 ugh).

But I can't completely T7 so according to other raiders I'm a horribad.

I guess within the OP's set choices, I'd be a casual to moderate non-raider, but I wouldn't place myself as that. I'd say I just do what I want when I can, and if I ever had enough time I could consistently dedicate to raiding, I'd probably start raiding if I felt like it.

Casual Raider - I don't even have Coil on farm (beat T8 last week), but I play as little as possible to keep the static I run going. I would say on average over the past 4 weeks I have played 4-6hrs / week.

For a little background info, hunts totally ruined the game for me. I think that its probably unfair of me to say that, but I hated that for 2 months that's all anyone really wanted to do, so there weren't fun things in PF for me to jump in on, Ramuh, helping with Titans or Trials, helping with T5 etc, it was all hunts. Boring, horrible, hunts. I was probably shifted between moderate and hardcore before that, depending on what was going on in RL.

    Hmmm...

I'm just nooby player who dislike raids (Because no duty finder and because everyone's so super busy and pro with it that it already makes me dislike it)

Let's see... 2h every day + around 15 the weekends... Yeah! I guess that enters in hardcore no raider then! I only play FFXIV after all ^^

(And yes, there's a lot of things to do that's not raid... Especially if you have to gear up equally all your gatherers, crafters, adventurers... Is the all-arounder way)

Hmmm.. almost fully done all of these except that sightseeing log thingy, so i guess definiton for myself would be a "No-Lifer" as i can easily spend 60h in a week(8-10h a day)and i dont even logout from game anymore when going to sleep. Also i would raid every week but we are currently doing some tank rotating so only every second week is coil for me, and no i do not PuG coil2 for obivious reason we all should know by now thus i rather miss out one lockout and wait for nextweek so i can enjoy said content with my FC.
