    Hardcore Nonraider for me. I used to raid in other games but I stopped raiding cause of the communities I've been in. They weren't exactly the nicest group and the stress wasn't fun. I'd love to go into coil at some point but I get nervous thinking about it. Dat High allagan coat of awesomeness tho..
    So I just do the story. Got almost all the fighting classes at 50 and I'm currently doing the Nexus. I end up playing everyday too haha.

    Hardcore raider here.

    Seems like I'm a minority.

    In terms of time played a week, I'm "Hardcore" but I don't like hardcore systems in-game save for Crystal Tower stuff (Which isn't hardcore.)

    So I'll choose nothing from Option 1 and 2.

    hardcore, non-raider, mostly because i lack the static and the will to get into this, i don't feel any thrills when i'm doing the raid of FF14, repeat a dance is not a fight, nor the type of challenge i look from end game content.

    Hardcore non-raider.

    I don't have anything against raids or dungeons in general, but I just haven't done any for over a month. I've been more focused on Frontlines (I want that warsteed!) and some of the other content that's come out that takes a lot of time to complete.

    Hardcore non-raider. I would like to do coil once just to do it but don't think I would be able to find a group patient enough to teach me. So I don't worry about it.

    I spend a whole lot of time in this game, and based on hardcore values, I have very little to show for it. But, I do raids also. I'm grateful to be in a coil static that is friendly and laid back, so I get to participate in the end game stuff without the end game drama. It's fun.

    If I had to label myself, it would be Alt-aholic, as I have multiple (5!) characters with multiple jobs leveled and geared acceptably. I expect to be leveling #6 when the new race lands.

    But I would never call myself a hardcore raider. I'd actually be slightly insulted if someone said I were, based on what I think it means. But that's just my opinion. Take it for what you will. ^^;

    It's sad that there are people who are interested in coil but afraid to try it because there are so few beginner groups out there. I'm a very casual raider, only came on 9hrs a week when we were still working on clearing coil and come on around 6 hours a week now. I would love to help teach people in my FC the new coil, but we raid on Tuesday night so there is no time between reset to just chill out and give pointers.

    For those who want to get into Second Coil, I would definitely recommend giving T6 a try If you're worried about people's attitudes, then you can definitely learn the whole fight from videos and go in prepared. If you'd rather just learn as you go, then maybe try making a learning party (although I know these always take forever to fill)? If not, then at least Second Coil will be unlocked soon so plenty of people will be around to help teach you!

    Pet peeves aside about the dividing line of casual and hardcore being drawn at "do you raid or not" but I'll chime in cos the factor of time got mentioned.

    Myself I'm Casual to Moderate. FFXIV is not the only game I play nor will it ever be the only game I play. Just as I'm casual to moderate in those other games too. I go where what I'm in the mood for and what sounds fun when I can play.

    Non Raider. My lean mean raiding machine days are loooong over. No more of that for me so I generally avoid raids. ST is my only exception.

    I guess if you wanna wrap all my activities in different worlds all together then maybe Hardcore Non Raider is me.
