Option 2 needs some work, as it currently stands you are putting emphasis on raiding over everything else by creating all-encompassing terms. A game is not as black and white as "raider or not." If someone's passion is raiding, that makes them a raider. If someone's passion is crafting, they shouldn't be shoved into a singular "non-raider" with everyone else. No, that person is a "crafter." If someone's passion is helping newbies through quests and dungeons, that person is a "teacher." If someone's passion is living within the world, that person is a "role player." I can keep going, but the point is that all play styles are equally important. If you wanted to make a post to see who raids, that's fine, but you should of just worded it as "hey do you raid?" A simple yes or no suffices there. As it stands, the original post makes it seem like is only one way of playing the game, by raiding.
