Question for Titan Ex

So, I know that in Titan Ex you are supposed to stack behind titan to evade the plumes and landslides, I get it. I'm not sure if its because of my internet connection or not, but I cant seem to be able to evade the plumes when stacking behind him, so I usually stay way behind the group so that I can evade, and it works perfectly.
I was dismissed from a party in Titan Ex for staying way behind everyone in the party.

Is there any reason for me not to stand in that position? I mean how does it make it harder for everyone to dodge the plumes if the plume that lands on me is completely separated from the other plumes? If there is something I am not getting someone please enlighten me.

Edit: I'm making sure that I'm on the same line as the group is so the landslides don't hit at an angle.

Because you are being considered not following the party's strategy.. Majority vote will say you are rebelling against them.. Because most people think there is only ONE way to beat something, thx to video guide and society..

I'm on your sides, I have 300-400ms playing ffxiv, I need to dodge weight of the lands almost instantly after the visual effect appear or even before it appears, I suggested that I stayed behind so in case I got hit, it'll be 1 stack of weight of the land, but I got sinister evil look..

Personally, as a Bard, I use repelling shot to clear plumes. If you were stacked behind me, I'd end up right in your plume, Dead. I could easily change my strategy to work around your play style but the whole party stack method is pretty much the gold standard now. To be dismissed is a bit harsh but honestly the stack method is the safest bet.

Most probably your internet is ok, but your PC/PS3 is too weak for Titan to render the fight smoothly with 30+ FPS (especially plumes are heavily graphic dependent)
When the rest of the game is running ok, but Titan not, get better hardware.

just because in final phase, you will have less platform, and more combinations from titan like bomb + adds + weight of land.
It's better to stack and place weight of land at same area for easier dodging, not only for you, but for your party members as well.
It's good to learn it on early phase than start to realize when you reach on final phase.

I'm playing on the PS3 and I doubt my internet connection is the problem so I guess I better invest in an SSD soon to be able to go through the fight and specially the final phase smoothly, and before getting eaten alive by another party.

Because the space that remain is so small, if you have any donkey that doesn't stack properly for double WoTL and the WoTL that comes during superbombs you can expect casualties.

The PS3 version loads pretty slowly (specially NPCs and other players/enemies). Is it really that big of a difference between PS3 and PS4? I understand from your post that you've made the transition.
