Next FATE is November. There's LIVE Letters at the Fan Fests though it bugs me that even the Vegas Fan Fest is likely right on top of 2.4 release. 2.4 is turning out to be the least hyped patch so far which is very strange. With inside of a month or so from a patch we normally have a full blown trailer by now. They've shown exactly 0 footage or images from the new Coil...no gear previews...very little on Rogue (BTW Rogue isn't Lore breaking as a starter since Rogue guild has always existed and they said nothing about requirements for unlocking NIN as a job...). Why are they holding this patch so close to their chests?

It's just like E3... only announced small info and release the trailer a couple weeks out from Patch. That live Letter in November will probably be 2.45, 2.48, or 2.5.

Well, this is sort of why they probably aren't setting a date yet. It depends on the results of testing at this point, so it can probably be shifted up or down a bit. Better to not say a date unless they're pretty sure to hit it. But they did say that it'd be after the seasonal event starts, so probably looking like late-October.

What do you think the new Tomb iLevel will be? If it higher then i110 then doesn't that make 2nd Coil Useless? So it is gonna be i110? But i110 is disappointing since it can be upgrade with soldier and sand already and 2nd coil.

I wonder if they'll keep this upgrade system for 2.4 or go back to 2.0 or even do something else this time.
