According to the census. This amount includes "replays" as well which is even more shocking. 2.5M players but less than half never / haven't reached Ifrit. I wonder what the true active subscriber number really is.

Anyone notice any other shocking stats?

Is that number just 2014? If so, nothing shocking at all there.

Plus the 2.5M number is probably not the most accurate since SE wants that number to be as high as possible.

You're probably right. It probably isn't a life-to-date number rather it is from the last census (being September of 2013). Still pretty low considering there would surely be replay runs included in there.

Depends. If this means number of instances made then each tally might count as 4 players since you can't enter with less.

while true it would also count repeats since people are often pulled into it for roulette to help that one solo queue person and there are times when no "new person" message pops up indicating the exp bonus (I know I personally have taken 5 characters past ifrit story so far and have done it at least 15-20 times outside of that for my daily roulette low level)
