So any solution to the absence of Ultimate Game Card? (UGC)

Seems like people are too into the whole housing issue that I have scarcely heard anything about this.

The last day to redeem your activated UGC codes will be September 30, 2014. So please remember to redeem your UGC codes before that date.

Related to the UGC product retirement, UltimatePoints (UPoints) will also be shut down. The last day to redeem your UPoints will be October 31, 2014.

They already stopped selling the UGCs on the usual stores I go to, so until another prepaid card provides for the game, this might be my last week on FF until further notice :\

Sure the digital Cards are a thing, but I heard way too many negative complaints about the SE store.

Anyone else got the same issue?

If it helps you can buy the physical cards on other sites like Amazon.

I've bought from the SE store before and have had no problems.

Considering the current housing debacle, I'd say the OP is better of paying through steam or getting ultimate pay on Amazon

Still doesn't address the main issue, as UGC were also being used for FFXI, FFXIV legacy program and FFXIV optional services (retainers and fantasia).

I wouldn't even be able to use UGC in Wisconsin, as UGC require me to additionally do an activation fee when I get home with my purchased UGC Card, which I can use another UGC Card to pay for, but that second UGC card also needs the activatio nfee, so I need to still pay the activation fee with Paypal, debit, etc. I'm glad Squeenix got rid of it.

I'm not sure why you are glad UGC is gone, even if you faced issues with it, it was many people's main way to pay for their sub and optional services, it's not like it was being forced to you.

What? There is no 'program' persay as there is reduced subscription fees. It's not a separate thing in itself. And as coldreactive said, Ultimate Pay isn't without faults. The sooner Square breaks from all these weird pay services the better, I say, they all never work out in the end.

And actually, early in 1.#, we were forced to use such services. I used one that was based out of the UK (because I didn't trust Ultimate Pay, still don't), but they kept charging conversion fees despite Square repeatedly asking them not to. I was overjoyed when Square took back over subscription payments, like they'd been doing with XI for... years. Not sure why they went with these third parties to begin with.
