Novus / Nexus stat reset

One you have completed the quest “Mmmmmm, Soulglazed Relics,” you will be able to alter the materia-enhanced properties of your relic weapon novus or relic weapon nexus. Prepare a new sphere scroll of the correct type to receive the power of your chosen relic weapon, then use materia and alexandrite to redo the infusion process.
* The materia-enhanced properties of a relic weapon nexus will be transferred to a sphere scroll after being adjusted to item level 110 values.

This is the text from the patch notes. Anybody knows / tried what we have to do exactly? If we simply have to redo the entire 75 alex and materia allocation, why does it have the transferring properties part?

Search the net and somehow nobody knows for sure yet.

There have already been a few threads about this - if you bring a completely empty sphere scroll to Jalzahn or whatever his name is, he'll copy your relic's secondary stats directly on the scroll so you don't have to redo the entire process, just the parts you want to switch out. Of course, you'll still need the alexandrite and materia for whatever you do want to re-infuse.

En outre, accomplir la quête "L'harmonisation des âmes" débloque une fonction permettant de modifier les attributs qui avait été donné aux armes antiques nexus et novus avec des parchemins stellaires. Pour ce faire, il faut s’adresser à Jalzahn en possession d’un parchemin stellaire vierge et choisir l’option "Ajuster une arme antique novus/nexus". Ce dernier transférera alors le pouvoir des matérias à l’intérieur du parchemin ce qui permettra ensuite d’effectuer les ajustements nécessaires avec l’aide d’Hubairtin.

=> buy a new scroll
=> talk to Jalzahn and choose the "adjust novus" option
=> he copy the stat of your novus on the scroll, your novus/nexus doesnt changed you just get a new 75/75 scroll.
=> talk to Hubertain to remove infusion, alex and materia used are lost (1 by 1, remove as many as you want)
=> infuse new materia
=> trade scroll back when it's fully infused with the new stats you want to NPC to get your novus/nexus fixed
