Most of them just hit the random gen and proceed to slap their face on the keyboard and call it a good name.
Yes I know but I still can't help feeling they are trolling us somehow
I think they do that to hit two birds with one stone: hard name to remember/recognize, and low chance of running out of names
I observed these bots 6 times between 9:30pm and 4:00am EST. Still doing the same thing over and over.
EDIT: Looks like something interrupted them or idk. Now they're all standing there with away status.

Our guild of bots on the Zalera server are again pillaging the poor defenseless wind sprites after their hard day of AFK crafting
Same bots, different day on Tonberry. Just tailed them on their way to LLN for another Wind Sprite bot session. No action from Game Surveillance and still no response from a GM or CM on why these bots aren't banned and why open world botting is allowed in ARR. Not impressed.

Whoa, I'm on Ragnarok and I think we're overrun with bots too. I just keep reporting "suspicious characters" every time I spot them. I think I report bots twice a week on average.
We have the same things going on in the same places on Excalibur, too. I would imagine it's this way on every server, since these are the good farming/SB areas.
Actually, anyone in here speak Japanese? I would be very interested to know if the same thing is happening on their servers.
I personally witness bot appearing outside the Gates of Thal a mth back, here on Masamune.
They appear 1 after another and stack upon each other. Moved toegther, cast lighting 1 after another.
Then as fast as they appear, they vanished. Then after 3 seconds another grp appeared... cast Aero, then vanished.
Continued on for quite sometime. Stopped observing after an A hunt mob popped somewhere else.
The names are actually well thought of, not those wsadfg ghyj type names.
Bumping and Liked your OP, but note, that threat was not hollow; they *will* ban you if they feel like you're harassing them about this. I'm not saying to stop, because we shouldn't be bullied into stopping, but just saying to be careful.I believe you have seen this thread and are ignoring it. I was told by the GMs to ask you, the Community Reps, to present this issue of rampant botting being allowed in ARR to the devs, and you haven't said a single word on the matter. I face disciplinary action from the GMs if I contact them again about this. The very least you can do is acknowledge the information and responses provided in this thread, which I believe has gained enough traction to have you take some interest in the matter and provide a response.
The lack of service in this game that we pay monthly subscription for (I remind you) is astonishing.
And seriously, if a GM told you that you face disciplinary action for reporting, if you were being civil with your reports, shame on them. What company threatens to punish you for reporting cheaters...I personally haven't stopped reporting but I do a lot less since I know it's not going to amount to a thing. But honestly, isn't that a shame?

Cheating? that's ok. Reporting cheating? you'll be disciplined.
what a backwards world
