Loosing players after update?

its cuz its getting close to 2.4. lots of people take breaks when they got the majority of the stuff they wanted to get done in the previous patch done, but come 2.4 things will be slammed packed again garuntee it. all an all though, ive noticed more people around this time close to patch than around this time closer to some of the previous patches

@OP since it appears we're on the same server supposedly, I'm not quite sure which Hyperion your on, but the one I'm on seems business as usual to me. I really haven't seen a decrease, I have actually seen an increase in activity and the PF thanks to the new relic quest, so many pts doing light farming it's quite nice to revisit some of my favorite fights actually.

Things are mostly the same, as far as I've noticed, maybe a little quieter. For the people who weren't able to buy a personal house or want to go burn their Nexus weapon though, this patch offered just some small vanity things.

When 2.4 hits we'll see the big rush again I imagine.

Is it just me or does it seem like the servers are emptier as updates go by? My fc hardly even logs on anymore even though they were all very active.

No one seems excited about the update and mordhona is a ghost town on a legacy server.

Yes, I'm seeing this on Adamantoise people are not logging on as usually and many are quitting...

Players have been saying the sky is falling when it comes to server populations since launch - my server is still packed at the best of times, and I've seen plenty of new players (with the sprout icon) running around. And then there's the fact SE has increased the 'XX million players!' heading on the Lodestone now up to 2.5 million players, so obviously there would have to be an actual increase in player population to back that statement up.

Really, reading between the lines, this is just another stupid 'personal housing prices suck!' thread by stealth, meaning it's a troll thread not to be taken seriously. *rolls eyes*
