Well that suddenly makes SOOOOO much more sense then.

When I moved to FL the only thing in this area is Comcast and anyone that knows THAT name knows how bad they are on throttling things.

Running on Comcast here, no issues. Though I'm in the northeast and on the PS4.

What version of Windows are you using?
Are you using the FFXIV client through Steam or standalone?
Are you connected via a Wireless network connection or via a network cable?
Do you have a Comcast cable modem and a separate router, or are they both the same device?

Comcast has monthly bandwidth caps for some regions they operate in. Check your Comcast account to see if you've hit it.

You said you pinged the datacenter earlier. Go back into a command prompt and run tracert.

It'll come back looking something like this (you can also see the syntax for the command in this image):



Either post an image here of your results or just copy & paste it for me and we can try to figure out where your problem may lie.

Your numbers look good. Have you moved your computer or wireless router recently? Perhaps there is new interference that is causing the problems.
