Nexus vs High Allagan

Anyone else hate the fact that they made Nexus better than high allagan? What about all of the people who worked hard for their weapons, now they are no longer BiS since you can customize Nexus. That just seems fucked up that now T9 doesn't give BiS weapon, relic does....

Can we please stop with the back and forth between coil and relic... get what you like, don't worry about what others have. Next coil is only a few months away, then it will be the relics complaining about not having bis anymore.

T9 weapons were doomed from the start.

Relics are always a better bet since they are supported with each update.

Don't forget the relic starts at i80 and the quest is getting longer and longer...

I'd say in about 1 year, a relic will be and SHOULD be more worth than an allagan weapon in my eyes.

The relic vs raid-obtained weapon argument is like beating a dead horse.

- T9 (and T5) weapons were "learn the fight, apply your skill, work with 7 other people, complete hard content"
- Relic questline is: "grind out easy stuff, no raid skill required, most of it is soloable"

Nothing has changed. Well, technically most people will grind out their Nexus doing raid instances, so they can't just solo it.

Welcome to the world of MMOs and gear progression. I will say that I was expecting them to release raid-obtainable i120/125 weapons at the same time as Nexus. That was what they did with previous patches (T5 was the only i95 weapon until second coil came out, then they gave out i95 Levi weapons like candy).

Nice to see someone who got their Nexus already. How many runs of Garuda HM did you end up doing OP?

Other than the select few individuals with no outside commitments like school or work, most people won't have Nexus until 2.4 launches, or at least right before. You can enjoy being a special butterfly a little be longer OP.
