Hi , so I have a few questions for you guys and gals please ! just came back after trying it for 1 week it was confusing so i didn't keep up with it . first a little bit about me . I am a former wow . rift . swotr , lotr . guild wars 1 & 2 player on pc now i am playing this game on ps3 ! that said I need some help . first how do i join a guild with a ps3 account and a ps3 controller! two what is the best server for me to join to play on cause there is always a right one and a wrong one ! and three what is the best dps class to play in game that is needed for raiding / party use ! THANK YOU !!!!! in advance for any help !

Since you won't have a Free Company (guild) attached to your user, people will scramble to ask you to join right away. PS3 has issues with rendering, so try to stay with a relatively not busy server like Siren. That's not to say you won't see some slow downs, but they won't be as pronounced. PS4 would make things faster if you get one. Siren is one of the less busy servers as I have been told. Thaumaturge (Black Mage) and Archer (Bard) are good choices for DPS. The Rogue (Ninja) is coming soon. If you're into melee DPS, then go with Pugilist (Monk) or Lance (Dragoon).

thanks will do . I have a high speed connection so not any real slow downs that i saw but i will go for a less pop server .

The best server depends on your specific interest. If you're interested in hardcore endgame, Excalibur, Hyperion, and Sargantas may be the best choices for you. There are some very good guilds on those servers. If you're interested in RP, Balmung and Gilgamesh are the unofficial RP servers. Be aware that you will have to log in and create characters at odd times (very early or very late) to get the more populated servers.

Of the melee DPS classes, Monk is considered slightly better than Dragoon (although Dragoon is better at burst). Of the ranged dps classes, I would say that Bards and Blackmages are usually in high demand, especially with the synergy between the two. There is a huge discrepency between mediocre and good summoners, so most players will apply a stigma to summoners until you prove yourself.

If you haven't already, I would seriously suggest getting a keyboard for the PS3 so you can talk with interested recruiters. Most free companies (guilds) have a house you can send an application to. Just browse through the residential districts and submit an application at their door. You may be able to check how active the fc is and talk to members while you're there too. Alternatively, checking the server forums is always a good idea. Don't be afraid to use linkshells to network in to FCs either.
