PS4 controllor/keyboard mouse question

Hello

Just got a ps4 yesterday and am in the process of downloading the game. My wife is going to play on that using the controller and I had a new logitech wireless keyboard and mouse combo that I was going to use mainly for the keyboard.

But being as its a mouse combo will the interface get "confused" on what she will be using? If it "sees" both the controller and the mouse what will the interface/ui be then?

While I don't know how the PS acts with different inputs, the PC has a switch that you click to change between Controller and M&Kb ui

I use both controller and keyboard mostly keybind certain macros I use with my keyboard and most my job actions on my controller it a matter of preferance really and playing around with the settings.

Okay but if it switches to the controller can you still use the keyboard?

The PS4 is the same. You set the game to either gamepad mode or KB/M mode.

Even in gamepad mode, you can still use the mouse for doing mouse things and set up keybinds for the keyboard. And regardless, you can use the keyboard to chat.

Yes you can still use your controller still you just have to go to setting and click on you hotbars you want and place them wherever you want them on hud then keybind them to specific keys like 1-0 or if have full keyboard use num pad or combination of both. Also I believe you have to turn off a feature so it isn't link to controller but I am at work don't have the name of that function off the top of my head.

plug a controller into your pc, play with the settings. The ps4 is exactly the same.
