Hi, Is there any timeline for the release of new servers?
Both in EU or NA.

Why would they add more servers? They haven't even opened the PS4 launch servers to transfers yet and those ones are not that heavily populated.

I don't see them adding a new server any time soon. The new servers are barely populated compared to older ones and aren't ready for transfers yet.

I could possibly see them opening an actual European data centre though, although I can't imagine the amount of work involved in doing that.

As Im happy to get a response, my question wasnt quite "is there a reason for new servers?" , but more like what is the timeline for the release of new servers, so your answer leaves me in the same situation I was in before you answered.

They haven't announced any new servers iirc, so nobody but the devs would know if they ever intend to.

Lithera and Kydi both gave you valid answers. There should be no need for new servers as there are still some very un-populated servers that haven't even reached a minimum of 5,000 characters on at the same time; much less 2,000.

I suppose if you want an even more valid answer you should say WHY you want new servers when there are plenty to pick from currently.

Maybe well after they add housing district servers to actually meet demand. Oh wait, no, they are releasing the game in Korea. There goes the infrastructure budget for the year.
