How many of us have grown up on the stories and legends behind the FF series?

Too many of us to claim between countries and continents.

I would love to personally purchase a book based on are the exact replication of the FF14 story line.

I find it interesting enough to read on a free time basis.

Hmmm on the fence of this one. But I could see a Stories of Final Fantasy book series or something with the various FF stories and EXTRA lore being added to them.

That's why I screenshot every piece of quest dialogue made in the game, as it's a long term goal of me to arrange screenshots into a coherent narrative of the game's storyline (it's an idea I started with FFXI).

Incidentally there are FF-themed novels available in Japan too, but apart from the On the Way to a Smile FFVII-tieins, they're only available in Japanese, and I don't think there's any for FFXIV yet.

Look up Hasegawa Miyabi if you're not familiar with his works from FF11. He wrote one novel for the original FF14, and now publishes a periodical series in Famitsu that just got released as a book. The 'chapters' (more blog posts really, considering its original format) are still available at the Famitsu site I'm pretty sure.
