    Need Help - Cut scene Voice acting not working

    Hi Currently re-installed FFXIV on my PC, and noticed the initial Start up Intro (the one you can't skip ) which has subtitles in the CG but doesn't have the voice over, and tried all cut scenes that should have voice acting, but none of them are working, i'm really confused.

    Any help would be appreciated thank you

    Do you maybe have your system set to a multichannel speaker mode, but only have stereo speakers?

    Because the voice would come through the center channel in this case, which you wouldn't have.

    That was the first thing i checked, but its set to stereo, I'm thinking it is system related, as i can't find anything on it

    you might try setting "Cutscene audio" to english instead of leaving it at "adjust to client"
