anyone know how long I'm locked out til I can login again? I logged from a dif IP so it gave me the suspicious activity error. Email is messed up so I can't really reset password to get in instantly.

I get this a lot whenever I change physical locations (primarily when I go visit my family). You'll need to go to the Square site, log in, and then you should be prompted to enter a new password.
It's very annoying, I get it from buying thing from their online store... So buying their other products is "suspicious"!?!
I believe if you get that message and an email was supposedly sent to you, the account does not unlock automatically. You will have to reset the the password via the email or customer support.
But that's the problem, the email i've got tied to my account doesn't work anymore therefore no email + I'm really bad with remembering my extra information (security questions and all that), that's why I was just wondering when the lock will get lifted.
It is not a temporary thing, the lock will never be lifted by itself. You must either find the email or contact support to unlock it.
There was one time that I forgot the email that I entered too. I had dummy data in my address (and it was pretty obvious). They asked for my cd key which I had and that was enough to unlock it. Changed my email afterwards.
I may have missed you saying this (NyQuil is as much alcohol as I can handle ; ; ) but have you considered an authenticator? It will eliminate this problem. I think you can get one on a smart phone, but that may have been WoW.
Otherwise, do they have a live chat? They can probably fix that for you since your email isn't playing nice, but you'll probably need all your information you can get (CC info, reg codes, stuff like that).
In this case, you will have to contact SE and get them to remove the lock. After that's done, you should definitely change your email.
Try doing the chat support before you call them first chance you get, they are only open mon-fri 9:00 - 18:00(pst). Good luck, OP. Idk what else to tell ya.
This used to happen to me a lot too before I had an authenticator when visiting family/travelling.
Do chat support.
I've done that before, I believe they asked for your name and something else.
