/tell and friend requests from bots

Please give us tools to help us to at least try filtering out some of this garbage. I should be able to turn off tells, friend requests and make myself unsearchable. If i want an hour in my private room undisturbed to craft, i should have the tools available to me to do it.

You can already do that. The only part not in the game already is basing it on the level of the character who's sending those tells, which is why I pointed out why that wouldn't accomplish anything.

The simple way to turn off all of that at once is to set your status to /busy. Then nobody can send you tells, invites, friend requests, trades, etc. And it can be easily toggled on and off.
(EDIT: Oh, but it doesn't make you unsearchable. I'd support a request to add an /anonymous option that does all that and also makes it look in search as though we're offline, if that's what you want.)

If you want to just turn off tells, while leaving the rest, you can remove "/tell" from your chat log filters.
