Email Notifications and Private Messaging (Forum Suggestion)

Hi there,

I think it would be great to be able to receive an email notification when a GM responds to my post concerning a bug-report. That way we know that they have responded and we can provide a more timely response to their questions.

Likewise, it would also be nice to receive a notification, via e-mail, when our bug-report threads are moved to a different section.

If you don't like the idea of making an algorithm to have the forums send out an e-mail, what about getting a notification using moogle-mail in-game?

Most forums will allow users to select various e-mail notifications, and I find the fact that this forum lacks such an option quite odd.

I would also like to see the ability to private message other forum users. That way, if you have a comment that you want to say to them, but it isn't on the topic of the thread (i.g. "OMG, your signature is so awesome!"), then you can say it without derailing the thread.

I was about to create a thread about this very topic, but then spotted this thread.

Private Messages. Why does this forum not have them? As far as I can tell, this forum is vBulletin, or based on vBulletin. The lack of private messages makes it very difficult to have a conversation off-thread, or even to exchange contact information with one person instead of publicly posting it for the whole forum to see.
