Please add Chocobo Stables and Farming to Bentbranch Meadows or similar facilities.

With the addition of Personal Housing to 2.38 many players and smaller Free Companies have found themselves without the means to upgrade their chocobo, color them, nor have the ability to farm. Cutting off an ever growing amount of content from folks that are not fast enough, have enough Gil, or not willing to pay double the cost from some player who decided to buy a house and post "selling my house I just bought!"

My suggestion is to create an accessible area in Bentbranch Meadows where players can rent stables for their chocobo to conduct training and feedings.

I would also suggest adding in a farming area so players and FCs who do not have Houses can garden.

I too like the idea of publicly available chocobo stables and gardens, however as you suggested there should be some form of Gil cost attached to using them so that the fc ones are not invalidated. I think the easiest way to do it would be to attach a Gil cost to any action that scales appropriately depending on things like the rank of your choco or the rarity of a plant you are growing. For example you may stable your choco, but feeding him costs X amount of Gil whereas X is determined by the rank of your choco.

But yeah with the player housing, it's impossible for a small Fc to get their house.

Q: I heard that we'll be setting up stables at our houses and raising our chocobos there, but does that mean you can't raise your chocobo if you don't have a house?


A: For the initial implementation of chocobo raising, a free company estate will be required to raise your chocobo. However, in a future update we will be unlocking certain chocobo raising features via the chocobo porters in each of the three city-states, allowing anyone to raise their chocobos.
