Sigh. Missed out on the chance in buying a small house for my FC again (was overseas and not able to login in).

The previous round I was working.

SE should really consider letting its loyal customers have a decent chance to get housing.

Wondering if there are many who like me has the means but not the luck to get housing?

Yep, and the same'll likely happen at 2.4 unless they rethink the wards.

They said they would try to double the amount of wards in the next update, if they try hard enough then I really doubt 6 wards per housing area will fill up in a day. If you don't want to take chances and get the house right as 2.4 lands (not waiting for devaluations) you can use the pricing table listed in the patch notes to know how much you should save.

For my good deed of the day, I will divert the homeless of Eorzea to this thread, you will at least get some shelter on those cold nights. Just one thing the only place you can't pitch your portable house will be Ul'Dah (the Domans would complain otherwise.)

I honestly think they should consider the instanced Apartment suggestion that has been kicking around. It'd give a lower cost solution and open up houses in the wards for FC's to use.
