WHM iL100 - What to unweather first?

I have full soldiery gear and accessories for my WHM and I\\'m now aiming to start unweathering them through Hunts. Should I unweather accessories first (as oils are easier to obtain?) or save my allied seals and get sands for my main gear? Any advice very welcome :-)

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the soldiery stuff because it has too much crit, so I would opt for the gloves. Either way, I suggest working on Sands first because everything left side will give you a VIT boost, thereby increasing your max HP. Up to you though

Look at what you need and what you want. I don't have a full sol build whm. I have some sol and some ST. Working on getting the mog ribbon and hopefully after that the ramuh earings. There is a gear caluclator available to show you what you want. From what I've been reading though... WHM wants right side sol and left side HA while SCH it's the other way around - for the most part.

    Ramuh drops i110 rings.

My opinion is upgrade either your weapon or daystar body first. That's assuming you have a weathered yagrush. I like critical hit rate on gear as a whm, but that's just my style. Most people will advise against that. Regardless, i have a lot of high allagan so i opted to upgrade the yagrush and daystar legs. One sand from T8, and the other from hunts.

Most WHM avoid crit as it does not create any bonus effects like adloquium's hp shield and there is no set formula known to calculate crit rate to critical percentage (so it is really difficult to say how much % increase 1 point in crit rate actually gives). Instead, players concentrate on DET, PIE, and Spellspeed which have quantifiable metrics. With that in mind, most WHM will have High Allagan gear and Soldiery accessories.

My recommendation is to unweather the accessories first. You're less likely to change them out once you start doing SCoB (so you don't waste seals for a SCH you don't have yet). If you have seals left, you may consider upgrading legs, hat, and body (as those drop on t9,t8,and t7 respectively), for which the extra drops may be useful.

Of course, you can go against the grain and build crit. Just be aware that we can't offer you any advice in that area on how to manage mp, enmity, and keeping your tank up. The only advice I can give is to build up PIE to help you stay in the fight longer.

With the new update, get sands from Syrcus (unless you're getting that gear from another class) and if you're only using Hunt seals for unweathering, use them on oil & accessories bc it's cheaper.

Your weapon first. Then legs. Then I'd unweather a ring and buy a new unweathered daystar ring (unless you can farm Ramuh). The rest I would unweather based on your SCoB progression and what fill in gear you have from ST. Crit might not be ideal over determination but it isn't bad. Raising mind is your priority.

    (Weapon) > Legs > Head > Hands > Bracelet / Ring.

Put Head and Hands the other way around if you prefer spellspeed over crit.
