Interesting. I get that they are limited by the technology and servers but if they knew this would be an issue, why did the continue with this gameplan and not come up with a more cost effective method? Something that would take a smaller digital footprint to make? Part of it might be that they didnt expect to have this amount of support and this many players, especially after the 1.0 fiasco.

Personal housing was implemented horribly, not going to candy coat it.

Although I was fortunate to buy one in time, it is really not right that so many players could not.
Whether it was due to cost or availability, either is just as important and should have been foreseen easily by se, any player could have seen it if we were told before implementation of the design...but we were kept in the dark as usual.

I was hoping a modern mmo would have adopted something like Rifts dimension system, it is far far far superior in complexity, immersion, customization and overall size then anything here in ffxiv
Very disappointed about that.

Considering they have adapted a very basic and limited housing design, it would have been really nice if they, at the very least , provided enough plots at reasonable prices to accommodate all players. If current design cant handle that then its time to totally revamp and get it right.

Limitations is not the customers fault nor should it be their concern, that's SE job to eliminate. It is impossible that they could not foresee the current housing issues as a disaster.

I do hope for every ones sake they do a lot more then simply double plot availability , that will fix nothing. If they were wise its time to seriously invest and expand their capabilities. Games that are far older should not have superior capabilities....but sadly, they do.
