    SE making end game hair styles avaliable for everyone. Good move or dumbing down???

    One thing that caught my eye in the patch notes that hasn't been discussed yet as im aware of was this little note about hairstyles in game.

    Certain hairstyles previously only accessible via the aesthetician are now available when creating new characters and retainers.

    How does everyone feel about this? The older players from say 2.0 had to complete an attunment quest and then pay a sum of gil to get these "end game hairstyles" while brand new players can just waltz right in and make their character with these unlocked from the start.

    Is this a good thing for the game? Should new players be able to enjoy this content from the get go or are the veteran players unhappy that they are no longer "earned" in game?

    Is this a sign of things to come with more dumbing down and removal of attunments? Hand outs? What comes after hairstyles?

    Does this also give a clue of how SE are going to handle the rogue and ninja class?

    Erm... you had to pay to change the hairstyle? They handede you a ticket to change it... and you got one more with 2.38...

    2.0 hairstyles are still BiS anyway so I don't see why it's a problem. It'll be an issue if they increase the DPS on future hairstyles, but we can cross that bridge when we come to it.

    What are these end game hairstyles that you talk about? What is this arduous quest chain? All I remember, is talking to some dude, then talking to 3 other dudes in each nation and talking to the first dude again.
